About Me
Hi. I'm Jackson. I'm from Kingston, Ontario.
I'm a graduate of Queen's University, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Currently, I work as a Cybersecurity Consultant at KPMG in Ottawa, Ontario, where I help clients develop strategies to protect, detect, and respond to advanced cyber threats.
Prior to my role at KPMG, I interned as a Cybersecurity Analyst at WestJet Airlines Ltd in Calgary, Alberta, where I honed my skills in various cybersecurity tools and contributed to the company's security management.
In addition to my work experience, I'm also an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner. I have a firm understanding of fundamental AWS services and I'm proficient in designing and optimizing cloud solutions.
Beyond my professional life, I'm an avid tech enthusiast. I've built over 20 PCs, participated in hacking competitions, and have experience with various programming languages. I also maintain a YouTube channel where I create and share gaming videos.
I'm also the former Co-Captain of the Collegiate Starleague – Fortnite team at Queen's University, where I dedicated numerous hours each week to compete in North American gaming competitions.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to and making music, reading, skateboarding and snowboarding.
